Picker settings
The picker settings define certain rules, which apply to your entire shop.
This means that all bookings done in your shop have to follow those rules.
You should therefore set those up in such a way, that they allow the biggest possible option you want to allow.
You can later always narrow down the rules for specific items on an item level.
The most important settings are:
Single day / Multi day
Defines whether your customers can only book within one day, or also select multiple days.
If you allow both hourly and multi day bookings, select multi day.
Time picker / date only / fixed durations
Defines how the selection of the actual hours and durations occurs.
If you want your customers to select the hours themselves, chose time picker.
If the customer should only chose a date range with no times, then date only or fixed durations might suit your needs better.
Time picker
The time picker determines how the actual times are generated.
The step controls the interval for pickup and drop-off times.
If you set it to 60 minutes, the times will be generated in a 60 minute interval
(08:00, 09:00, 10:00, etc).
If you set it to 30 minutes, they will be generated in a 30 minute interval
(08:00, 08:30, 09:00, 09:30, etc).
The minimum duration can be used to for example say that even with a 30 minute step, a booking must be at least 2 hours long.
The maximum duration allows you to limit the booking of a duration within a single day. If your customers should be able to book multiple days, you should leave this field at 0.
Date picker and fixed duration
With date only the customer does just that: Select a start and end date.
With fixed durations, the customer selects the start date and can then chose from pre-defined booking durations via a drop-down.

For both date only and fixed durations you will need to define a boarding time.
Since the customer doesn’t chose a specific time, you need to tell the system which times to apply.
This is required so that availabilities can still be calculated properly.
This boarding time should be within the opening times of your locations (otherwise nothing will be available).
The boarding start time indirectly determines up until which point a customer can book for the same day.
If you were to set the boarding start time to 13:00, a customer would not be able to book for “today” if it is already 14:00.
Aside from that, your customer will not see the boarding time.
Date Picker
The date picker determines how the date selection works.
Here the pre-booking time defines how far in advance your customer must book.
If you set it to 2 days for example, then a customer wanting to book for a Wednesday must do so at the latest on the Monday of the same week.
The field “Allow start maximum X days in future” does the opposite.
It defines how far into the future your customers are allowed to book.
For example if you set it to 14 days, then a customer visiting your website on the 8th of a month, will be able to select a start date up until the 22nd of that month, but not further.
This does not affect the end date. So while the customer would only be able to select a start up to the 22nd of the month, the end date can be as far into the future as your maximum duration allows for.
Search filters
Those are optional filters, which apply to your search widget.
If you have multiple rental locations it is highly recommended to activate the “Location select” and chose all the locations your customer should be able to chose from.
The options “Filter by tags” lets you add a dropdown filter, where customers can select categories defined by you, filtering the search widget for items, which have this tag / category.
With “Amount of people” you can add an input field on the search widget, into which your customer can enter an amount of passengers / participants.
The search widget will then only show items, which have this amount or higher set as their capacity.
You can set up this capacity for each item in thew inventory.
