Get Paypal API keys
In order to get your API keys for Paypal you should first navigate to
https://developer.paypal.com/dashboard/applications/
Here you need to ensure, that you are in live-mode.
If you see a banner like this:

It means that you account needs to be activated, before you can use the live-mode.
To activate it, click on the link in the banner and follow the instructions.
Please note, that the verification process might take a few workdays.
Once this is done, you can set the switch in the upper-right corner of the page to live:

When you are set to live, you can click on “Create App”.

A pop-up will appear, asking for an App name. What you enter here doesn’t matter, as it is only for you to be able to distinguish between connections, if you use your Paypal for multiple purposes. You can simply enter “Rentware” and chose “Merchant”.

You can then confirm this by clicking on “Create App”.
In your REST API apps section you can now find the Client ID and the Secret key.
You can simply click on the “copy to clipboard” buttons (marked in screenshot) and then enter those codes in the payment settings. (https://app.rentware.io/settings/payment)
