Bookability card

We have added a new “bookability” box to your items.

Here you can quickly see if the item is bookable in your shop.

At the top you have a Toggle between “Public” and “Internal”.

“Internal” makes it so that the item won’t appear in your online-shop, but you can still manually add it to a booking in the Rentware-backend.

“Public” means that it is allowed to appear in your online-shop.

The coloured symbol below shows whether it is actually connected to your booking steps (and therefore can be selected by a customer).

If you see a red triangle it means that the item is not connected to any booking step and will therefore not appear as a selectable option to customers. If you want to add it to a booking step, you can simply click on the step and select any of the tags connected to it, as we did in the screenshot above with the tag “Porsche”.

Support “all locations” in items

In the location select of your items you now have the option “All locations”.

Choosing this option will make this item bookable in all your locations.

In the search widget it will appear regardless of location chosen.

In the item booking widget with calendar view you will now find a location select, so the customer can choose, where to book the item.

The same will follow soon for other view options of the item booking widget.

Widget based shop

We have enabled our “old shop” to use our widgets.

This includes all widget functionalities, like data forms.

This is a stand-alone website, through which you can collect your bookings.

If you don’t have a website and don’t intend to make one, this might be an efficient option for you.

If you want to use the widget based shop, feel free to contact us, so we can set it up for you.

Widget redesign

We have made a few changes to our booking widgets to make them more customer friendly and communicate more clearly what to do next.

This includes more visible button colours, some slight tweaks and a “jump to next available end-date button”.

Clicking on it makes the widget jump to the month with the nearest available booking end-date.
