New payment methods with stripe
We have integrated the Stripe express checkout into Rentware.
This means that, in addition to the already existing payment methods via Stripe, you can now also enable Google Pay, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay and Link.
If you haven’t connected your Stripe account yet, check out our article on

In order to activate Stripe express checkout (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay and more) you need to log into your Stripe account and go the the “Payment method domains”:
https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/payment_method_domains?enabled=true
Here you need to click on the “Add a new domain button” and enter the domain name of your website, on which your booking widgets will be displayed.
If you have multiple websites, add each one individually.
You then need to activate the payment methods, by going to the “Payment methods” setting:
https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/payment_methods
Here you have to find the desired payment method and click on “Turn on”.

You then need to activate Stripe Express Checkout in Rentware in the payment settings:
https://app.rentware.io/settings/payment

Testing:
In order to test whether everything works correctly, go to your website, or the widget configurator, put an article into the cart and proceed to the payment step.
There you should find the following payment option:

When you select this and proceed to “Book now”, you will find the enabled payment options (Please Note that Apple Pay only appears in Safari):
